AerialGuard® Dead-End Bracket
APPLICATIONS
The dead-end bracket is used with the AerialGuard® spacer cable system for the purpose of circuit dead-ends or double dead-end angle construction. The messenger is terminated to the pole above the bracket. The bracket provides mounting holes to attach the required deadend insulators and maintains the spacer cable configuration.
CONSTRUCTION
The dead-end bracket is constructed using carbon steel SAE 1010 to 1020 laminated 3.0” channel and 2.0” structural angle and is hot dip galvanized after fabrication (ASTM A-153)
FEATURES & BENEFITS
- Maintains spacer cable configuration into the termination pole.
- Pre-drilled holes for insulators and standard 8” pre-drilled pole attachment.
- Pole mounting is achieved using either 5/8” or ¾” through bolts or double arming bolts (not included).
- Provides individual termination points for phase conductors.
- Predrilled ground lug mounting hole.
- AerialGuard® brackets are interchangeable with other manufacturer's spacer cable systems
