Bare solid soft-drawn aluminum tie wire is generally used to secure a bare overhead conductor to a pin type insulator.

CONSTRUCTION
Bare annealed solid aluminum alloy 1350-O.

STANDARDS
These tie wires are manufactured and tested to meet or exceed the following standards:

• ASTM B230 – Aluminum 1350–H19 Wire for Electrical Purposes
